Guyana..
I really hope I have some time to write about this little-known country that I visited for work during the past 10 days!
Speaking of work, it's been so hectic, I find myself in desperate need of a vacation. A 5-hour layover in the Soca/Sunshine drenched island of Barbados didn't do the trick.

Katie! I vaguely remember you were Suriname..but didn't know if you were Guyana! I just saw your pics! It's inspiring me to do a more thorough posting!!!

DRAKE... what was the documentary's name? I'm curious! I'm going back this October too. Better job, better pay, better work setting... I'm really looking forward to this season.
I'm really excited to read about your trip to Guyana. What a crazy place, eh? You stayed in the Pegasus Hotel? Did you know that 3 weeks before I arrived in Guyana, an American guy was murdered there? That was the first thing I heard about Guyana before I flew there!

Katie--Sorry I tried to find it and couldn't..it was penguins..go figure! I'm glad you're going back and "movin' on up"! Good for you!
I did stay at the Pegasus! And no, I didn't hear about any murders! Probably some young, dumb, Government employee with too much Banks in him:)
