it's actually Grolsch, which is Dutch. And German beer is probably the best. And besides, you're Turkish, what do u know about beer..EFES?!! Carlsberg?! Tuborg?!
DTURK!!!!! DONT EVEN MAKE ME GO THERE!!!!! SIKTIR YA! ;)
That being said, it would have truly been a shame if it was Yeni Raki.
I have to admit I was impressed with both Efes and Tuborg (Danish). Its another thing that they are WAY overpriced here, that and Raki too. There is no match for a good Dutch or German beer though. I heart Grolsch!
The funniest thing is that in Turkey, well Istanbul at least, the "tiki tiki" beer is actually MGD (waaaaaaaaaay overpriced), which, as most of us know, is anything but the Champagne of beers. Yeah, I drink it.
But yeah, Emir should brush up on his beer knowledge... I'm seriously considering offering a beer tasting event for all the @ers here this summer. Oh and don't forget about Czech beer.
my apologize about my beer knowledge and confusing ctys MY bad. and well the beer in turkey is even more expensive because of the freeaking taxes. thats whatt you get when you have a conservative govt. americans cant give me shit because their drinking age is 21 while ours is the "i can reach over the counteR" age. go drink some Chimay or Stella Artois. but i still love u
dturk, now that's an interesting point you bring up..the drinking age in the US..here's a timeline (using my age) about what I thought about the US' 21 year old drinking law.
YEAR 17-Contemplated burning local bar down 18-Considered Moving to Belize 19-Sat Outside backdoor of local bar waiting for "leftovers" 20-Fake ID, still upset 21-Bliss, the long wait 22-Caring less about the law 23-There's a drinking age? 24-I feel old 25-Travel to Europe and see all the annoying 18 year olds, thank God we have a 21 year old drinking age.
