Drake, I don't know you and you don't know me. But I will make it downtown to OC sooner than you can say,.. well, OC (I shamefully hang my head as I was a resident one year).
This photo distinctly reminds me of roller-bladers in sunglasses, santa hat, and shorts in Laguna Beach on a Christmas afternoon.
I promised KK that I will be in touch for my la-la land visit.
Considerable amount of misinformation has been told about you from Digs and KK - so no, I don't know you (hence the introduction). But the power of das blog has made it feasible for distant learners like me to observe the migratory behavior of a midwesterner (exhibit A: you) to the warm & hip territory, such as Cali. I'm no stranger to the concept (I used to live in IL).
Since I heard so much about you, though, I thought an introduction was apt.
So, totally dude. I think your blog is helluv tight. (One difference between you and I, my friend, is that I'm from the north and you live in the south :)
Digs - C'mon, you're from San Mateo. You're old enough to know what "In-N-Out" is in California.
***For those of out-of-towners, In-N-Out is a (originally) family-owned burgershop in California that made it big for their good ol' fashioned burgers. Their "freshness" was their selling point, and they like to keep it just that way with simple menus, since 1948. If you look closely at their packaging, they also give you Christian passages, somehow having to do with food.
For all I care, it had good burgers and was a popular highschool hangout in P-town (my hometown?). It was either that, or Denny's where all the gay waiters and punks congregated at 3am.
